Our inspectors have many years of experience inspecting equipment in accordance with the regulations.
What we can do
The Institute actively participates in the European product safety committee CEN and the American product safety committee ASTM. As co-authors of various safety standards issued in Europe and America, we have direct access to the applicable safety regulations in the EU, USA and Canada well in advance of their implementation. Additionally, we have access to all interpretative documents from the various product safety committees, ensuring we are always informed of the latest safety initiatives and can seamlessly integrate them into our professional development.
Our course leader has extensive experience in training both inspectors and installers for the playground industry, as well as in issuing personal certificates.
Our inspectors are all certified according to the applicable safety standards, with their training regularly updated and their inspections monitored annually by management.
With many years of experience, our inspectors are proficient in inspecting equipment in accordance with the applicable regulations, including playgrounds, multi-sport equipment, parkour equipment, skating rinks, outdoor fitness, bouncy castles, and trampolines. Several of our inspectors also hold certification as safety inspectors according to the American and Canadian playground safety standards.
Our engineers can perform “calculations in steel,” conduct physical tests of load-bearing elements on site, and perform traction and stability tests for equipment. The Institute also possesses several HIC testers and can perform the required drop tests onto all kinds of falling surfaces, as well as certify falling surfaces.
